The following are directions to the areas of Wilson Creek were we normally meet. However in 2004 we have selected a new location. We will cross Wilson Creek at Walker Store at the new bridge. This Bridge takes us onto Private Property. There are two sets of directions into this area. One in a Short route through Morganton NC. The other route is a more longer more scenic route through Lenior NC. On our trips to the Dead End Road I recommend the short route. If going into the main part of Wilson Creek I recommend the longer route.
The long route is a beautiful drive especially during the fall of the year. The route brings you in through the Wilson Creek Gorge. It is spectacular any time of year but more so in the Fall when the trees are bursting with color.
